In2022,theoverallpressureonsalesinthehouseholdapplianceindustryhasledtoincreasinglyfiercemarketcompetition.
Thepenetrationrateofemergingchannelscontinuestogrow,acceleratingtheintegrationofonlineandofflinechannels.
Gree'sproductsintheconsumptionfieldcoverresidentialairconditioners,HVAC,refrigerators,washingmachines,water
heaters,kitchenappliances,andenvironmentalproducts,etc.In2022,theCompanyworkedhardinthefaceofchallenges
andchanges.Ithascontinuouslyimproveditsinternalstrength,upgradeditsindustry,deeplyexploredconsumerdemand,
andcontinuouslyinnovatedproductsprovidingtousers,achievingsteadygrowthinoverallperformance.(1)TheindustrysizeofthehouseholdapplianceexperienceddeclinesIn2022,boththeexportanddomesticmarketsalesofthehouseholdapplianceindustryexperiencedvaryingdeclinesinthe
scale.The2022AnnualReportofChina'sHouseholdApplianceIndustryissuedbytheNationalHouseholdApplianceIndustryInformationCenter(NAIC)showsthatthedomesticsalesvolumeofthehouseholdapplianceindustryin2022was
RMB730.72billion,withayear-on-yeardecreaseof9.5%.Affectedbyfactorssuchasglobalinflationandthecomplexand
volatileinternationalsituation,theexportvalueofChina'shouseholdapplianceshasdecreased.In2022,theexportvolumeof
thehouseholdapplianceindustrywasRMB568.16billion,withayear-on-yeardecreaseof10.9%.(2)Themarketsizeoftheairconditionerdeclinedin2022
In2022,theglobalandChineseexternalenvironmentofairconditionermarketswaspoor,withasignificantdeclineinthe

The2022AnnualReportofChina'sHouseholdApplianceIndustryissuedbytheNAICshowsthattheonlineretailsalesvolumeofChina'shouseholdapplianceindustryreachedRMB422.66billion,withacontributionrateof57.8%,indicatinga
furtherincreaseintheproportionofonlinechannels.Theriseofemergingchannelssuchasshort-formvideoandlivestreams
hasdividedupthemarketshareoftraditionale-commercechannels,drivingtheadjustmentofthechannelstructure.
2.Industrialfield?steadyprogressoftheindustrywithacceleratedstructuraladjustmentandtransformationand
upgrading
AccordingtodatafromtheMinistryofIndustryandInformationTechnology(MIIT),in2022,China'stotalindustry'svalue
addedexceededtheRMB40trillion,accountingfor33.2%ofGDP.Themanufacturingindustry'svalueaddedaccountedfor
27.7%ofGDP,anditssizehasrankedfirstintheworldfor13consecutiveyears;thehigh-techmanufacturingindustry
accountedfor15.5%ofthevalueaddedofindustriesabovedesignatedsize,whiletheequipmentmanufacturingindustry
accountedfor31.8%ofthesame.Theproductionofnewenergyvehiclesandphotovoltaicshasconsistentlyrankedfirstin
theworldformanyyears.Thetransformationandupgradingoftraditionalindustrieshavebeenaccelerating,andaswellas
thedevelopmentofnewindustries,theindustrialsystemhasbeenmoresound,withthecontinuouslyoptimizedindustrial

increaseinthefuture.AccordingtodatafromChinaBuses(www.chinabuses.org),in2022,thesalesofnewenergybuses
above6mbykeydomesticbuscompaniesincreasedby21.49%year-on-year,markingtheboomingdevelopmentofthenewenergybusmarket.
(3)Energystorageindustrydevelopscontinuouslyandrapidly
In2022,China'senergystorageindustrystillmaintainedarapiddevelopmenttrend,whilethepolicysystemsupporting
energystoragecontinuedtoimprove,andenergystoragemadebreakthroughs.Itsglobalmarketdemandisstrong,andthe
creationofenergystoragestandardsisaccelerating,providingstrongsupportforitsrapiddevelopment.Accordingtodata
releasedbytheNationalEnergyAdministration,asoftheendof2022,theinstalledcapacityofnewenergystorageprojects
thathavebeenputintooperationinChinahasreached8.7GW,withayear-on-yearincreaseofover110%.In2022,theNationalEnergyAdministrationandtheNationalDevelopmentandReformCommission(NDRC)haveintroducedmanypolicieswithregardtoenergystoragedevelopment,coordinatingthepromotionofnewenergystoragepilotprojects.Based
ontheGuidanceonAcceleratingtheDevelopmentofNewEnergyStoragereleasedbytheNationalEnergyAdministration

on-yeardecreaseof2.4%,andsaleswere233.26millionsets,withayear-on-yeardecreaseof2.2%.Withthedeepening
implementationofChina'snewenergyefficiencystandardsforairconditioners,theairconditionerindustryhasenteredan
eraofhighenergyefficiency.Thehigh-efficiencyandenergy-savingtechnologiessuchasinvertershavebecomestandard
configurations.Productswithinvertershaveoccupiedtheabsolutemainstream,ofwhichmeetinglevel1orlevel3innew
energyefficiencystandardshasdominatedthemarket.ThesummarydatareleasedbyAVCshowsthatthesalesofinverter
airconditionersintheonlineandofflinemarketsaccountedforover90%in2022.Thedemandforinvertersandhigh-efficiencyandenergy-savingairconditionerproductshascontinuedtodrivetheupgradingofcompressortechnology.
